Feeling run down? Winter blues finally getting to you? My 6am wake-ups certainly are… Try starting your day with this zingy and refreshing 3-ingredient juice and you’ll be bright as a button again ready for those 9am meetings. Ish.
The combination of blood orange **in season**, fresh ginger and cinnamon are sure to give your immune system a real boost – the ingredients are brimming with vitamin C, antioxidants and natural anti-inflammatories. And don’t forget: the white pith on an orange contains lots of antioxidants too so be sure not to discard too much of it along with the skin – it will also lend your juice a lovely creamy texture.
Who said healthy juices had to be green?
Immunity-boosting! breakfast juice
Ingredients:
Makes 1 glass
- 3 blood oranges, outer skin removed
- small thumb fresh ginger
- pinch cinnamon
Method:
Put the oranges and ginger in a juicer and juice. Stir in a pinch of cinnamon. That’s it – zing!
