In my attempt to improve my health, my juicer and blender are getting a fair bit of action at the moment! So here’s another one…
And this one is heart-healthy, skin-healthy and generally a bit magic. Not only is it low in fat, high in fibre and dairy-free, it contains whopping amounts of antioxidants which help to combat disease – yes please!
Incidentally, this creamy, nutty drink is also very tasty and only contains two ingredients…
Antioxidant-rich blueberry & almond milk smoothie
Ingredients:
Serves 1
– cup/glass almond milk
– 1/3 cup / handful blueberries (fresh or frozen both work well)
Method:
Put the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If desired, add ice and pulse again for a slushie!

Thank you! I am pretty pleased with these ones – I’m just teaching myself so sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t and often hunger takes precedence over pretty photos…which is why the photos for my savoury recipes are often so rushed :) Just checked out your blog – it looks awesome btw!
THANKS – by looking at my blog you would think that I didn’t cook & server amazing dinners every night… but often we are too hungry to worry about plating and lighting and just want to eat, so I hear you on that one!!
